Saint Louis Job Corps is a federally funded workforce development and education program that serves young adults ages 16–24 by providing free career training, academic instruction, and comprehensive support services to help participants achieve long-term economic self-sufficiency. Operated as part of the national Job Corps program, the St. Louis center offers hands-on training in high-demand industries such as construction trades, healthcare, information technology, transportation, and advanced manufacturing, while also supporting students in earning a high school diploma or equivalency, industry-recognized credentials, and work-based learning experience. In addition to technical skills, participants receive housing (for residential students), meals, healthcare, counseling, and career transition assistance, positioning them for successful placement in employment, apprenticeships, military service, or post-secondary education upon completion of the program.
