Precision Machining Technology, Certificate of Specialization (CS)
This program prepares you for entry-level jobs in the machine tool trade. Students will learn to safely set up and operate milling machines, lathes, grinders and drill presses. They will also learn the basics of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine set up and operation. The program is designed around the National Institute for Metalworking skills (NIMS) credentials and prepares students for testing in seven of the level one credentials.
Precision Manufacturing Technology Training Program at Lewis & Clark Career Center
Students of this training program will learn the history of machining, machine safety, blueprint reading, mechanical design, utilization of conventional machine techniques and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) programming. Students are career-ready upon completion of the program.
Ranken Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship
5- semester Apprenticeship program. Learn technology-based systems and product production processes delivered in compliance with industry standards. Successful participants are awarded an Associate Degree and can earn numerous NIMMS and KAIZEN certifications.
